Hi there. I am Giannis, owner and founder here at Muscle Revolution . And I believe that fitness can enhance every aspect of your life.
I am an ex-chemist (MChem) who turned sport scientist (MSc) with a mission to help time-poor Edinburgh men and women overcome the negative effects of a busy and stressful daily life. I do that via expertly designed coaching services, that go beyond the gym and guarantee permanent changes in your body, health and well-being.
My method is identity driven. After helping 100+ Edinburgh residents transform their bodies and life, I know that the key to successful body transformation and health lies in making sustainable lifestyle changes. I believe that the true benefit of proper exercise and nutrition is not only in the end result. It is in the process in between.
With Empathy, Commitment and Knowledge, I will guide you towards your body transformation and health goals and show you that you could have succeeded all along. You just needed a hand.

Muscle Revolution strives to offer the highest quality coaching service in Edinburgh and online. When you choose Muscle Revolution, I want to be chosen because I'm the right fit for you and not based on price, so I don’t provide my prices here. The coaching fee will depend on how many sessions you do per week and will be provided by me during our first FREE consultation. Please click the button above to book yours.
Do you need to have experience to be healthier and work on your body? Absolutely not. My in-person service is designed for complete beginners to intermediate clients, looking to make their first steps towards a healthier and more confident future self. I take pride in designing a service that teaches beginners in the most optimal way the necessary training, nutrition and lifestyle actions you need to take to transform your body.
Whether you are looking to take the first step in the gym or take your training to the next level and break through your plateaus this service is for you.That said, my online service is much better suited to those with at least 6 months of gym experience that want to progress further, improve their performance and nutrition and break through the plateaus.
As part of your journey you will do 1-3 sessions of in person training with me per week (depending on which package you choose). These last 1 hour and are carried out in a private gym facility in Leith. The gym is fully equipped with 45+ pieces of equipment and is over 200 square meters of interior space. This is not your normal chaotic commercial gym. No more waiting for ages for equipment or working out in super packed gyms. You are welcome to visit and have a tour. Here at MR I am getting you from where you are now, towards your goal body. Nutrition is undoubtedly a primary component of a successful weight loss and muscle build phase and very important for longevity and health. The nutrition guidance I am offering is evidence based and personalised to you. My practice around nutrition is based on flexible dieting.
The only requirement to be a qualified personal trainer in the UK is holding a REPs level 3 qualification. I do have that, of course, but this is only a 2-3 month subpar qualification which teaches entry level and outdated information about training and nutrition. I find this unacceptable. To provide you with the best service possible I have invested in my knowledge and I currently hold 2 masters degrees, including one in Sport & Exercise Science and Medicine. This provides me with the knowledge and tools to safely guide you towards your desired body transformation and health goals.
Getting started in your fitness journey is always a big step. Enquiring for coaching and investing in yourself is the most clever thing you can do – in my opinion –. The truth is the time to start will never be ‘’perfect’’. Work, family commitments, the next holiday… there will always be something coming up. But if you do it now and succeed now, you will succeed for the long term and that’s what you truly want.
